haemodialysis center extension Oujda – HM King Mohammed VI laid, on Monday in the eastern city of Oujda, the foundation stone of a children’s home and the extension project of the haemodialysis center at the Farabi hospital.The children’s home will offer socio-educational support and training services for children spending long periods of time at the hospital’s paediatrics ward, while ensuring a free and independent access to leisure and cultural activities. These projects are funded by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
The facility, which costs 3 million dirhams (386 K dollars), will also enable kids who are at school age to continue their education.
Spanning over 500 square meters, the home includes among others an administration, communication rooms, a plastic arts workshop and rooms for music and entertainment.
As for the haemodialysis center, it will improve access to healthcare for patients on the waiting list.
The project worth 2.5 million dirham will be carried out in partnership with the Health Ministry and the Moroccan Kidney Patient Association. MAP
